Privacy Policy

This policy covers two separate apps published by Konvert Technologies Oy. They handle data very differently, so each is described on its own below. Chart Patterns collects no personal data at all — nothing it stores ever leaves your device.
1. Who we are
Konvert Technologies Oy (Business ID 3631359-4), Ruukintie 93 b7, 60100 Seinäjoki, Finland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. Chart Patterns — no data collected
Chart Patterns (com.chartpatterns) is an offline learning app. It has no user accounts, requests no Android permissions, and makes no network requests. Your quiz results and best streak are saved only in the app’s own storage on your device.
We never see that data, and it is not transmitted, shared or backed up to us. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently. There is nothing for us to delete on request, because we hold nothing.
3. ChartSnipe — what we collect
ChartSnipe (com.chartsnipe) requires an account and analyses chart images, so it does process personal data.

Camera and photo access
ChartSnipe asks for camera and photo library access only so that you can supply a chart screenshot for analysis. Images are used for the analysis you requested and are not scanned for anything else, not used to train any model of ours, and not shared for advertising. You can decline the permission and still use the rest of the app.
Payments
Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe’s own checkout page and never reach our servers or the app. We store only your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your plan status.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising or tracking SDKs
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, so we receive no behavioural telemetry
- No location data, contacts, or microphone access
- We never sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising
4. Who we share ChartSnipe data with
Only with service providers who process data on our behalf under contract:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage
- OpenAI and Anthropic — the AI models that read your chart image and produce the analysis. Images and prompts are sent to them to fulfil your request
- Stripe — subscription payments and billing
- Netlify — hosting for the backend that serves the app
Some of these providers operate outside the EU/EEA. Transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data: for as long as your account exists
- Chart analyses and journal entries: until you delete them, or until your account is deleted
- Billing records: as required by accounting law, currently six years in Finland
6. Deleting your account and data
In the app: ChartSnipe → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, chart analyses, journal entries and profile, and cancels any active subscription.
By email: if you have already uninstalled the app, write to [email protected] from your account address and we will delete it within 30 days.
Chart Patterns needs no deletion request: uninstalling the app removes everything, and we never held any of it.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction of it, erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and a portable copy. Contact [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
8. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Sign-in tokens are held in the device’s encrypted storage. Access to production data is limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
9. Children
Neither app is directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email.
